Next-Generation Grid Power Conversion System
Hillcrest is developing a next-generation power conversion system designed specifically for grid-connected applications. Engineered to deliver industry-leading efficiency, reliability, and performance, our first prototype—a 200kW system—will serve as a foundational building block for modern power infrastructure.
Powered by our patented Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS) technology, the system is expected to deliver:
- Greater than 99% efficiency
- Near elimination of switching losses
- Reduced SiC chip area requirements, lowering material costs
- Lower DC-link capacitance, enabling the use of smaller, less expensive capacitors
- Significantly minimized EMI and harmonics, reducing the size and complexity of filters and shielding
- Use of off-the-shelf components for faster, more cost-effective production and delivery
Designed for integration with renewable energy, energy storage, data center and industrial drive applications, our power conversion system is expected to support more stable, efficient, and cost-effective grid operations.
